Rhythm Guitar and Vocals
Personal Background: Dan Bench, originally from Carrick, PA, began his musical journey at the age of 9, starting with the saxophone in 4th grade.
Musical Journey: Dan grew up in a household filled with music, thanks to his parents, especially his father. Over time, he played drums, saxophone, trumpet, and tuba across stage bands, marching bands, concert bands, and all-city bands. While in the Air Force, he picked up a guitar in a dorm day room and learned “Stairway to Heaven”—it was love at first strum. Dan’s favorite influences include Genesis, Mott the Hoople, and Tom Petty.
Band Experience: As the rhythm guitarist and vocalist, Dan brings decades of experience and a steady presence to the band. He loves blending classic rock influences with the fresh energy brought by younger members.
Behind the Scenes: When not performing, Dan treasures his time with his grandkids, stays active in the VFW Honor Guard, enjoys golf, and loves traveling. He’s also surprisingly skilled at Wii Bowling!
Personal Philosophy: Dan believes in the mantra: “Party on, dudes!”
Gear and Fun Facts: Dan’s prized gear includes his Martin DCME acoustic guitar, his 1976 Telecaster Custom electric guitar, and a collection of pedals.
On Foxy: “She’s a great band member—never complains, loves every song… unfortunately, she came with the keyboard player.”
